rowing machine and Expresso bike

Okay, so I tried the expresso bike today, what a great way to get through a workout at the gym!  I did the “Bent Spoke” ride and it was really fun, I beat the pacer by 7 minutes; it was a fantastic workout!

After the bike ride I did 10 minutes on the rowing machine 5 minutes over hand and 5 minutes underhand.

Feelin’ good!

I have been avoiding running for a while because I was just burnt out so I have been doing other things to maintain my cardio and I am happy to report that I have indeed maintained my cardio base and I am so excited about that!

Today I finally felt like running so I got on the treadmill and took it easy but felt great!  Every two minutes I increased the speed from 3.5 to 5.3 in increments of .2 or .3 for 10 minutes at 0% incline.  Then I went back to 4.5 and did the same thing at 2% incline for 8 minutes and the very same at 3% incline.

Looking forward to tomorrow, I just want it to get here so we can know where this great country of ours is going and so I don’t have to see or hear another political add!!

mixed it up!

Cross ramp 30 minutes - 4 minute sets of incline 4 resistance 1 and incline 10 resistance 8.Rowing machine 10 minutes.

My arms are very sore from yesterday’s cardio kickboxing, this is a good thing!! I am going to try to take advantage of the time change and work on becoming a morning person. I don’t have great faith that it will work but I might as well try!!

cardio kickboxing!!

I took it a little easy because I wasn’t sure what to expect.  It was an amazing cardio workout, very fun and I was surprisingly tired when I was done, I was glad that I didn’t go all out on the kicks and squats!  It was an all over tired, especially my arms!!
